Seth Taylor is a multi-instrumentalist from the mountains of Western North Carolina. Seth grew up playing bluegrass and acoustic music and landed his first professional touring gig at age 15. After moving to Nashville in 2012 he joined acoustic / jam-band staple, Mountain Heart, and later became part owner of the band. Over the last several years Seth has shared the stage with countless artists including Grand Ole Opry members Dailey & Vincent, Ricky Skaggs, and Carly Pearce to name a few. He frequently plays in the Opry house band and has performed on landmark stages such as The Ryman Auditorium, Carnegie Hall, and The Library of Congress. While touring has been a big part of Seth’s career, he has also become a sought-after session musician in Nashville. He’s played on countless recordings including Zach Bryan’s juggernaut 2022 album, American Heartbreak. In 2018 Seth formed a band with friends Aaron Williams, and Lacy Green called The Wonderful Nobodies, who have since released two albums (A/B, MORE) independently. Most recently he has joined the American acoustic supergroup, Wood Box Heroes, on mandolin. Fellow band mate, Jenee Fleenor says, “Seth is one of the most talented musicians I’ve had the pleasure of playing music with – on stage and in the studio. He has a musical maturity beyond his years but also brings a youthful-infectious-fearless energy to any room he graces! Everybody wants to play music with Seth Taylor!”
